The prices for the car rentals and autos include the following services:
- Third party insurance by insurance providers
- Unlimited mileage
- 13% road tax
Prices for the car rents and autos Group A and B include full coverage accident insurance by recognized insurance providers/association without personal insurance retention. Prices for the car rents and autos Group D, E and F include full coverage accident insurance by recognized insurance providers/association with personal insurance retention of 120€ .
Guests booking a car for rent must have been in possession of a valid driving licence for at least one year and must be at least 23 years old.
“Finca Tropical” – Starting Point for Activities on La Palma
Santa Cruz de La Palma, the capital of the island, and the airport are approximately 45 minutes away from the holiday resort. Route description for the journey from the airport to the “Finca Tropical”.
From the garden hotel “Finca Tropical” to Los Llanos, the biggest and most lively town of San Miguel de La Palma, it takes about 15 minutes with your hired car or auto. Here, you can go shopping, you can stroll through the lanes, have a short break at the Plaza Espana in the cafés under the old Bay Trees or visit the new archaeological museum….
Further shopping possibilities as well as restaurants and bars, beach and coastal promenades of the beach resorts Puerto Naos & Puerto de Tazacorte can be reached from the “Finca Tropical” within a few minutes by your hired car.
It takes about a two hours’ drive with your rental car to Europe’s highest observatory on the higest mountain of La Palma, the Roque de los Muchachos.
